Retail prices will probably sink to an average of $3.15 a gallon by Dec. 31 from $3.339, according to Michael Green, a spokesman in Washington for AAA, the nation’s largest motoring organization. The world market is responsible for gouging us. It speculators gambling on the future prices... sometimes, maybe even a catastrophe.

of course this assumes the theory of supply and demand actually applies.... unfortunately, that has not been the case, as pure unadulterated greed trumps all!!!

Well...here we go again. The prognosticators attempting to earn their pay. Later today there will, not surprisingly, be a story telling us we should prepare for $5 a gal gas.

All the predictions go out the window as soon as some nut in the middle east goes crazier or obama decides it's time to blow something up over there.
