I have not changed a tire in a very long time. I'm 67 years old now, so back when I was in my late 30's or early forties.

Apart from my bicycle, I've never changed a tire myself. And don't really know how to keep that bike tire on, either. (Solved that problem by buying a solid-rubber tire, but such is not available for a car.)

It has been a very long time ago, maybe over 10 years ago and the reason I said that is since we became members of "Good Sam EM Road side assistance service" I got Lazy, And they are really good and quick to respond too, my sister belongs to another service and I won't mention its name and they are very slow, so we are very pleased from our BIG MOTOR-HOME to our CAR....

Now that I think of it, it may have been over 10 years. I hope I could still
do it if I had to. I'm sure it would mean cleaning out the trunk. That means I haven't checked the spare pressure in awhile either so it's probably flat.

I normally change my own tires when there is a flat, but bring it to the dealer when it needs rotation.

Rotated my Tires in my driveway and when deployed had a driver hit a curb which was shattered and sliced into the sidewall.

I've shown my daughters how to change a tire. They know where all the stuff is, jack, spare, and where the jack goes. The oldest had a flat while on a date. The boyfriend asks, what's a spare? Pathetic that kids aren't taught anything about the real world today.

I put snow tires on my two wheel drive Suburban last fall and will be taking them off shortly. I'll be rotating the tires on my sedan also. Do it yourself, make sure it's done right.

Used to do it all. On and off the Car, on and off the rims. Sometimes no matter how hard you try things happen. Last fall before the cold and snow started here, a Valve Stem had gotten bumped. Next morning, Flat. Off it came, paid about $15 to the local car service place to have them check it over and repair it. They do great work. It is still good. :) I actually miss not being able to do those things anymore because of Bad Knees!

A long time ago, it was back in the '90's on a narrow busy street back in New Zealand, I could feel the woosh of the traffic as they flew past me. I had 15 minutes to change the tire and get back to work. (It was my meal break).
