Gulf Coast braces for Tropical Storm Karen

GasBuddy Blog -- Tropical Storm Karen may bring more than 8 inches (20 centimeters) of rain, isolated tornadoes and power outages to the U.S. Gulf Coast, where it is expected to go ashore starting today, forecasters said.

Karen, with top sustained winds of 60 miles (97 kilometers) per hour, was about 295 miles south of the mouth of the Mississippi River, moving northwest at 10 mph, according to a National Hurricane Center advisory early Friday. They said the storm may re-intensify over the weekend.

Bloomberg reports that the center’s tracking map forecasts Karen will make landfall as a tropical storm near the Florida-Alabama line tomorrow. The system may drive tides 3 to 5 feet above normal from the Mississippi to Mobile Bay, Alabama...

my ex wife with name Karen She is not more of a trouble then a danger so she is going to do is cause trouble and not really any danger so all you really have to is move out of her way I just put it down

I agree with RappMassG , here in MI are prices jumped up .30 why who knows but greedway must have to have there yachts waxed for the winter who knows their all nothing but a bunch of GD MFING CROOKS

During a time of lowering oil prices could the refiners use this as an excuse to raise prices again? It seems as though any excuse is good enough to raise prices.

Yep, Greedway didn't hesitate. Prices jumped 20-35 cents/gallon this morning. All stations are going up to the collusion price.
