Will Chavez’ successor move left, right or center? Will the newly elected leader encourage rapid recovery of Venezuela’s declining oil production?

Will he yield to international law and allow oil companies like ExxonMobil and Conoco Phillips to recover billions in compensation for the unlawful seizure of assets …perhaps signaling an interest in welcoming private oil investment and further development of Venezuela’s deep reserves?

history tells us that exploiters will go into an area and develop industries that can reap huge profits with little regard for the people that live there who may eventually take over control

I doubt we will see much difference in price with Venezuela's declining oil production and no adequate response to international law.

The US imports their oil, and sells gasoline at 10 cents or less there.

I have not bought Citgo (or Value Express, which the nearby Citgo changed its' name to in January) in 3-4 years, ever since I learned they're Ven oil. May not be much, but it's something. Course, if they don't sell their oil here, I'm sure China will buy it.
