I see that you were the one responsible for throwing the count off last night. Good one. Anyway, I've seen this count get thrown off dozens of times by people transposing numbers, including one time when we went from 460,000 something to 640,000 something. Am I just supposed to leave errors like that alone? I don't think so. I have been doing corrections to this thing, and I have seen several other people doing the same over the course of the years that it has taken to get to this point. No one is messing anything up by keeping the count correct per the total number of posts, otherwise we'd be all over the place, as we have been several times in the past.

I can't go back and show you where the error occurred that I corrected, because it only goes back 200 posts. Someone had transposed two digits, making something like 869,480 into 869,840 and then proceeded from there. However, if you will simply look at the total number of posts for the group and multiply that number by five, you will get the value that the poster should have placed. It really is quite simple to check this thing. An example is occurring right now at 5:50ish am, in that the total number of posts is 174,159, yet the post value reads 870,790. That is incorrect. It should read 870,795. I will now correct this error again - something that I have been doing consistently without anyone ever previously questioning me for about four years now.

The number of posts multiplied by five equals the value that the "count by five" should be at. That someone who went back to 869,xxx was me, and it was CORRECTING an earlier mistake. The count is correct now, so do not try to "fix" it again.

Hi lunarrv15, Saw your good comment on "Alberta ramps up Keystone lobby". I say: The Keystone XL is NOT bringing cheap Canadian oil to the U.S. for use here to lower our prices at the pump. The oil and the refined products will be transshipped to the high paying markets in Asia. The United States citizens will not benefit. The Canadians will benefit some, Big Oil will benefit a LOT and the markets in Asia will use all of the new supply. Want to become buddies??? Warren {:-)

A BIG CONGRATS on 300 consecutive days! Awesome! For some it seems pretty easy to come back each day! But for most GBs they just don't seem to have the dedication or the persistence it takes to come back and post gas prices each day for other GBs! That's really a shame! I do realize some GBs have life challenges and difficulties (some daily) that they have to attend to that keep them from coming back each day, it seems that vacations are the biggest consecutive day killer (I've seen this a lot this year) and then "just forgot" oops, which happens quite often even to those with some big numbers! :( You're doing great on your consecutive days!
