Wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

by CookieMB  Oct 01, 2012

I just paid my registration fee and did the fundraising amount my daughter needed to get the free shirt. Next year my husband's sisters & SIL's want to enter a team. Then I'll post the name & a link. You can save your donation until then. Or just make a donation to the general pot. Either way is good. Just so you know, I walked so L'il C can have a future without breast cancer. Thanks for your interest. And thanks for the buddy request.

The carp never make it back into the pond! He has a south of the border neighbor who takes all we can catch. I think he smokes them! I tried that but had trouble keeping them lit. The best way I found to fix them is salt em down good nail em to a board put them in the oven on 250 for a couple hours carefully remove them from the board and eat the board. They do make good garden mulch!

Trouble with the carp is that no matter how many crappie or whatever they put in there, they'll ALL get gobbled by the carp just as fast as they can get to them. The lakes and rivers back home in Alabama have been pretty well taken over by carp. Here in South Texas, many ranchers pay people to net and throw the carp and gar fish up on the bank, so that they can have a few catfish and bass.

Definitely a pointer....or might as well be! LOL
