I use my finger nail...you can pick off the add on readers and tell if they are in place. The readers are getting very good and getting harder to spot. Normall the 'reader' is just a bit longer than what it should be. What you should do it go to the same places, remember what the 'real' reader looks like which will help you spot an unwanted addition. We have a lot of scamers here so I've picked (pun intended) up the habit of attempting to scratch at the reader. Hope this helps.
